Weekly energy budget
Using GreenPT (chats, apps, agents, dictation and meeting transcripts) counts towards a weekly energy budget, measured in watt-hours (Wh) rather than in messages. A quick question to a small model uses a sliver of it; a long research run with the largest model uses more.
- The budget refills in full every 7 days, counted from when your plan began, and changing plan starts the week again. Unused energy does not roll over.
- When it is used up, chats, apps and agents pause until the next refill, or until you move up a plan.
- Dictation and meeting transcripts count by the length of the audio, and keep working when the budget is used up.
- Calls made with an API key are paid from credits and never count towards the budget.
In GreenPT, Account → Usage shows what you have used this week and when it refills.
