Green Notes

New release · 24 October 2025

A powerful note-taker within the GreenPT platform. Connected to our Green-S-Pro (our self-hosted Deepgram Nova 3 model), it can transcribe conversations in different languages such as English, Dutch, Italian, French, German and Spanish with high accuracy and frontier-model quality.

One of the “coolest” things is that we managed to use small GPU servers for running our speech-to-text models, which makes a big difference in energy usage.

Folders with custom-GPT functionality

It’s now possible to create folders / projects with custom-GPT functionality.

With folders you can

Start chats in a specific category or folder.
Add a prompt to the folder so it behaves like a custom GPT.
Attach knowledge such as files and documents.

Practical folder examples

Brainstorm ideas: a prompt that sparks creative concepts for product names, campaign slogans, or project plans.
Grammar check: a prompt that reviews any text you paste and returns corrected grammar, punctuation and style suggestions.
Translation: a prompt that translates input between languages (e.g., English ↔ French) while preserving tone and terminology.
Summarize documents: a prompt that condenses long articles, reports or PDFs into concise bullet-point overviews.
Generate code snippets: a prompt that writes short pieces of code in the language of your choice based on a functional description.

AI Carbon Footprint Insights

This is our big release moment. We are now the first AI platform in the world to give our users insights into their footprint when using AI. We’re rolling this out today for the chat and API.

It’s now possible to see the energy used and CO₂ emissions of the last 30 days and per request. As a user, we also give you feedback when your session is getting too long, along with tips on what to do. This sounds like a logical step, but we are the only AI provider offering these insights at the moment.

Please note that we consider our calculation an alpha version. Calculating the footprint without having all the data is a challenge. Currently we build our calculations primarily from the technical specifications of our infrastructure and assumptions about our actual usage. You can read more about it here.

We’re looking for cases to compare our approach with. Are you measuring, calculating, or estimating the energy consumption and environmental footprint of your infrastructure? Let’s have a chat!

The next thing we’re going to work on is gathering feedback from our users and the community to improve the current calculations. We’ll also focus on account usage, which will have a broader scope.
